Review summary

St Anne's provides a wonderful location, being a short walk from both the high street and Chalice Well, with some rooms offering lovely views of the garden and Chalice Hill. Guests appreciate the availability of both self-serve and cooked breakfast options, including vegan choices. There's a comfortable guest sitting room, equipped with a fridge, and spring water provided in glass bottles. Some guests have noted that certain rooms, like the twin room, can be quite small and the information folder outdated regarding amenities such as a TV.

the location was acceptable, as it was near chalice well.
The twin room felt rather cramped. There was no wardrobe, only a coat stand. this coat stand was insufficient for two people to store their belongings. the steep staircase to reach the room presented a problem for me.

Excellent Location and Lovely Breakfast

warm welcome spring water
Sue and George provided a warm welcome. They showed me the facilities and my room. They also offered both a self-serve breakfast with vegan options and a cooked breakfast. I had the cooked breakfast each day. The B&B collects spring water and provides glass bottles .
The guest information folder needs updating. It mentions a TV in the room. the current owners do not offer this. Housekeeping was only done upon request and I did not find this ideal.
Location

The location proved handy for accessing the town center.
My room lacked a proper wardrobe. Instead, there was only a coat stand. This was insufficient for hanging multiple items. On the last morning, i found the milk in the guest fridge had turned sour. i think the place needs more attention to certain details.
